Install the AnTech VPN
This document describes how to install the AnTech VPN connection on Windows 10 and Windows 7 computers. The VPN forms a secure tunnel between your computer and AnTech’s network over the internet; functionally making it the same as if your computer was plugged in directly in the office.
Windows 10

Press the Windows key and, type “VPN”, then press Enter (selecting 'VPN Settings').

Click “Add a VPN Connection”

Enter the following information in each field:
VPN Provider: Windows (built-in)
Connection Name: AnTech
Server Name: remote.antech.co.uk
VPN Type: Automatic
Type of Sign-in Info: Username and Password
Username: <<your email address>>
Password: <<your password>>

Tick the “Remember my sign-in info” box, then click save.

Click on the newly created VPN connection and then click the “Connect” button.

Windows will attempt to connect to the VPN connection, if successful, you should see a “Connected” message.

To connect in the future, click on the “Network” icon in the status bar and choose the AnTech VPN option from the list.
Windows 7/8

Press the Windows key and, type “VPN”, then press Enter.

Enter “remote.antech.co.uk” in the “Internet Address” box.

Enter “AnTech” for the “Destination Name”.

On the next screen, enter your login credentials. Use the username and password you use to log onto the computer.

Windows will attempt to connect you to the VPN connection.

To connect in the future, click on the “Network” icon in the status bar and choose the AnTech VPN option from the list.
